Abstract:
This study aimed of this at "the terrorism in Iraq from the point of view of Jordanian journalists." And this study is based on data sources, both primary and secondary has been getting on secondary data from a number of books and previous studies related to the subject of the study, while preliminary data obtained through a questionnaire on the study sample. The study population of all employees in Jordanian newspapers, and given the difficulty of access to the population of the study, the researcher takes a random sample of (200) journalistic in Jordanian newspapers, (13.85%) from Community but it was excluded approximately (13) identify the lack of suitability tests for statistical analysis, and thus Number of questionnaires midwife to conduct statistical analysis (187), this has been the researcher using statistical analysis software (SPSS) for access to the goals and objectives of this study, The study arrived at the following results:
1 - There are significant at (alpha ≤ 0.05) for motives (political and ideological and personal, economic and cultural) of terrorism in Iraq and press coverage of Jordan, depending on the point of view of Jordanian journalists.
2 - There are no statistically significant differences at (alpha ≤ 0.05) for motives (political and ideological and personal, economic and cultural) of terrorism in Iraq and press coverage of Jordan, depending on the point of view of Jordanian journalists, according to the variable (sex).
3 - There were statistically significant differences at (alpha ≤ 0.05) for motives (political and ideological and personal, economic and cultural) of terrorism in Iraq and press coverage of Jordan, depending on the point of view of Jordanian journalists by demographic factors of (age, name of the newspaper, age, experience Press, Qualification, nature Qualification.
