Abstract:
Specially developed silver-based inks can be screen printed onto TPU, offering inexpensive manufacturing of flexible electronics substrates that can be stretched to more than 10 times their initial length without loss of conductivity. Such stretchability is of potential interest for a broad range of applications of flexible and flexible hybrid electronics. Results are presented and discussed from an ongoing systematic characterization of the performance and reliability of the traces.
In a separate study, 3D printing is being implemented in various manufacturing sectors as it offers lightweight products with excellent mechanical properties. But in the case of moving parts in contact with each other, in particular, the surface finish on the part is detrimental to the function or service life of the product. This study aimed to characterize the surface roughness of the parts in the as-built condition, after mechanical treatments, and after chemical treatments. The best results so far were obtained by a combination of a mechanical treatment followed by a chemical treatment.
