This exploratory study provides a means for evaluating cloud security infrastructure to provide comprehensive analysis for cloud customer and providers from security stand point. As more and more data move from centrally located server storage to the cloud, the chances for personal and confidential data to be compromised will increase. All three aspects of security i.e. - Confidentiality, Availability and Integrity of data is at risk, if appropriate counter measures are not considered prior to selecting a cloud vendor or implementing your own cloud and migrating to Cloud services. Cloud services such as Software as a service, Platform as a service or Infrastructure as a service will each have their own security concerns that need to be mitigated. As part of this study, we will be using a conceptual literature review using documentary analysis process, which includes reviewing online journals, books and white papers related to cloud security and discussing same topic with industry experts for feedback. In the study result section of the report has detailed analysis and it review each of the security risk and mitigation plan, such as infrastructure security, data security, identity and access management. In the conclusion section, report revisits the summary of study result with future scope of work.
