European Environmental Policy: East and West focuses on areas of cooperation between Eastern and Western Europe in the field of environmental protection. This text explores the various economic and political circumstances in East and West within which the environmental problem arises, and which will determine the possibilities of reaching a solution. This book also examines results and opportunities still open for East-West environmental cooperation. This text has 10 chapters and begins with a brief presentation of the problem areas, followed by a survey of existing legislative and organizatio.
