Özet:
Holographic interferometry has been used for some time with great success in a wide range of engineering applications due to three facets: firstly its simplicity, secondly it is cheaper than MZI, thirdly its capability of producing three dimensional images. The main objective of this work is to find out if it is possible to use holographic interferometry in photographing the motion of finite disturbances in the free surface of a liquid. A double pulse Q-switches ruby laser was designed specially for this work. The important feature is that the double pulse separation time can be controlled in the range from 1000 musec to 50 musec, and would thus be capable of producing interferograms with extremely small time separations between the two exposures.
