Özet:
Primary phosphines (PP) have a spontaneously flammable nature, in spite of a broad range of potential applications in fields such as asymmetric catalysis, biomedicines, and polymer science, due to the high reactivity of P-H bonds. In recent years, a notable family of air-stable PPs without steric protection has been designed and synthesized, and the density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggested the conjugated large pi systems to be the origin of their unusual stability. Thus, we conducted this research for three air stable PPs. This study clarified the oxidation process of air-stable PPs under both irradiation and H2O2 oxidation, and explained the resistance of Superem-PH2 oxide to further oxidation as well. The kt study in our work also confirmed the theoretical hypothesis suggested by DFT calculations.
