Özet:
This study investigated the effect of STEAM educational models on non-achievement school indicators: teacher confidence; teacher engagement; student grade level retention; student discipline rate; student average daily attendance rate. The study used a mixed methods quasi-experimental design based around a regressive cohort model examination of aggregate data, a Likert Scale attitudinal survey, and a series of two focus groups. The study found a positive change student attendance and teacher engagement during the implementation of the STEAM educational model, but mixed results in student behavior, grade level retention, and teacher confidence.
