Özet:
Flexible substrates offer advantages including low cost manufacturing in roll-to-roll processing. Costs may further be reduced through printing and dispensing processes using conducting inks, allowing rapid prototyping and customization of circuits. Some flexible substrates are transparent and have advantages in automotive applications for transmission through windows.
ITO antennas operating at ISM bands on CorningRTM Willow RTM Glass are designed, fabricated, and tested. ITO antenna designs and their feed structures demonstrate the improvement of the radiation efficiency and the antenna gain. An ARC materials include ITO and AlSiO2 layers are designed to achieved lowest reflectivity of the Willow RTM Glass in visible wavelengths. The functional ITO layer can be integrated with solar cell and ITO antenna for transparency improvement.
Printed silver microwave circuits and a inverted F antenna are modeled, designed, and tested. 5G antenna array designs, including a grid antenna and an end fire Vivaldi antenna, showed promising return loss, high antenna gain, and radiation efficiency.
