Özet:
This action research study examined the effectiveness of group and individual reinforcement for increasing homework completion for students with ADHD. Many students that are diagnosed with ADHD struggle to complete homework assignments. For some students, homework is overwhelming and difficult. Students with disabilities usually have a negative perception about homework as well as a low completion rate. The researcher discovered that an increase in homework completion, academic grades, and attitudes towards homework all increased or maintained when the interventions of group and or individual reinforcement were in place. The results of this study indicated that individual reinforcement correlated with a slightly more positive impact on students' homework completion rate. During individual reinforcement students completed 88.8% of their homework accurately and on time. As compared to an 80.2% completion rate with group reinforcement. The researcher's hypothesis was validated by the data collected during this blind study.
