Özet:
In today's age, the technology of cloud computing has continued to boom effortlessly. The appeal of lower costs, increased technical performance, and increased return on investment in this technology is enough to send corporations running to the more and more popular cloud computing. Due to the lack of research that exists for the successful implementation of cloud computing, many corporations tackle the challenge of implementing cloud computing without a specific plan. The specific problem that exists in enterprises today is a lack of empirical data that explores the relationship between theories of robust planning and successful cloud implementation. It is only after cloud computing is improperly implemented that corporations realize they have the incorrect or insufficient resources including manpower, skill set, or vendor support. The proposed research was that of a qualitative ground theory methodology with 16 participants from South Florida corporations. Each participant answered a questionnaire of 15 questions and joined a focus group. The participants were executive management, high-level IT managers, and enterprise architects who had been involved in the planning and implementation of enterprise-wide cloud environments.
