Özet:
This qualitative multisite case study examined how the teachers and school leaders at three public schools in New South Wales State of Australia perceived SpringBoard21 (SB21) influenced their school to become a learning organization. Additionally, the study examined perceptions of what collaboration looks like, what actions foster member collaboration and identify perceptions on how SB21 influenced persistence toward collaborative practice. Participants within each school included the principal, members of the Executive Team, and teachers.
Data were collected through an interview process via the Zoom meeting platform on the internet and analyzed using a with-in case analysis as well as a cross-case analysis to identify common themes within and across each school. Findings suggested teachers and school leaders perceive SB21 had an influence on their school becoming a learning organization, but SB21 was not the only influencing factor. The study contributed exhibited actionable methods that school leaders can utilize in the development of a collaborative culture for the purpose of becoming a learning organization.
