Özet:
Since 1947, the manufacturing of CO2 powered dragster production advanced from hand drawn sketches and hand tools to advanced solid modeling designs and computer aided manufacturing. Investigator of the study made his efforts to substitute present method of CO2 powered dragster manufacturing with advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3-D modeling, computer simulation, and 3-D printing. This reviewed the existing method of CO2 powered dragster production and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education role in CO2 powered dragster production, further producing advanced CO2 powered dragster by implementing advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3-D modeling, computer simulation, and 3-D printing. The traditional process of CO2powered dragster manufacturing was reviewed comparing to propose method to enhance the student learning and implementing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts. The benefits were identified, reviewed, and guidelines were given for successful implementation.
